Pass Plus Course – £36 per hour
Pass plus is a scheme aimed at young drivers, which was introduced in 1995 by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA). This will take at least 6 hours and was introduced to enable drivers to drive more safely on the roads and improve drivers’s skills and confidence.
There are 6 modules included within the pass plus course:
- Town driving
- All-weather driving
- Driving on rural roads
- Night driving
- Driving on dual carriageways
- Driving on motorways
As opposed to taking a test you will be assessed throughout each of these modules and must complete each module to an ‘achieved’ or ‘exceeded’ standard. When you pass the course you will be sent a Pass Plus certificate. For further information about the Pass Plus scheme please see this Government Guide.
